On August 28, 2019, Suzhou Soft Intelligent Materials Co. Ltd. (SSIM) completed the angel round of funding by Suzhou Industrial Park Weide management consulting partnership (limited partnership). Angel investor Weide Partnership, registered in Suzhou Industrial Park, is an investment platform jointly established by Ronghui You, a senior investor in the biomedical industry, and major shareholders of senior managers of pharmaceutical companies and clinical medical experts. Weide focuses on investments in the medical field, and their team is composed of professionals with biomedical and clinical backgrounds and investment experiences. They have invested in dozens of medical enterprises with excellent investment performance.

Dr. Yin Xia, CEO of SSIM, states that the core strategy of the company is to expand the applications of biomedical, intelligent soft electronics and to develop independent products in the medical field. This round of funding will be used to promote the product development of medical devices of Professor Suo’s relevant technologies.
